**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 121 dated 7.9.2016, registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, Police Station Guru Harsahai, District Ferozepur. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the basis of the letter written by Branch Manager, HDFC Bank Ltd., the present FIR has been registered with the allegations that one of their staff member i.e. Sarwan Singh (petitioner) made a bogus credit entry of Rs. 99.00 crores but due to their internal control process, the bank alerted the concerned branch and six persons were apprehended at Mumbai. Learned counsel further submits that as per the statement of complainant recorded by the police under Section 161Cr.P.C., the petitioner could make entry of Rs.

49,000/- only but is not involved in the alleged bogus entry of Rs. 99.00 crores. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am of the opinion that the instant petition deserves to be dismissed. GURPREET SINGH 2020.01.

CRM-M No. 51074 of 2019 -2against the petitioner and the public money was involved. Not only this, the petitioner is on run and has been declared proclaimed person on 5.7.2017. No ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.

The petition is dismissed.
