Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks relief for extending the period of parole, as, granted by this Court through the order made on 12.10.2023 in CRWP-10036-2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, that though the parole period expires on 10.11.2023, but since the present applicant is suffering from viral infection, therefore, his parole period may be extended for a week beyond that period.

Though, this Court does not find any reason to extend the parole period, however, in view of the medical prescription slip, which is appended with the file, thus making revelations that the petitioner is Raman Kumar 2023.11.08 10:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

2023:PHHC:141925-DB CRWP-10864-2023 -2suffering from the viral infection, thus, for ensuring that the said viral infection does not become contagious, thus the petition is allowed. Resultantly, on the above ground which shall not be treated as a precedent in other cases, this Court extends that the parole period, for one week commencing from 10.11.2023, and, ending on 17.11.2023. However, the petitioner shall be bound by the directions as contained in paragraph 7 of the order dated 12.10.2023 (supra) passed by this Court. 4.
