The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 17.05.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-21677-2023, which was disposed of in terms of the judgment passed in CWP-7001-2013 titled as 'Daljeet Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others' decided on 26.04.2018.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the State of Punjab has filed review application i.e. RA-CW-476-2024 in CWP-216772023 before this Court, which has been ordered to be decided after the decision of SLP-3331-2020.

In view of the above, the present contempt petition is dismissed. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to avail the remedy as is available to them, after the decision of SLP-3331-2020. 4.
