   PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.116 dated 06.06.2022 registered under Sections 324, 323, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 307, 201 IPC added later on) at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur.

Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the injury attributed to the petitioner is simple and case of the petitioner is at parity with that of co-accused namely Jaspreet Singh son of Kishanjit Singh alias Bhola, who stands admitted to regular bail by the Court below vide order dated 26th of October, 2022. The petitioner is in custody since 17th of July, 2022. Investigation has been completed and Challan stands presented. 3.

Mr. Cheema is not in position to dispute the aforesaid factual assertions based on record.

Having heard counsel for the parties and after going through the records of the case, without going into the merits of the case and keeping in view the fact that the challan already stands presented and investigation stands completed, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
