Grievance raised in this petition is that despite the petitioner having made a representation dated 24.10.2019 (P.1) addressed to respondent No.2 for taking action against the assailants, who attacked upon the family of the petitioners including respondent No.4, no action thereon has been taken so far.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner used to write against the politicians for their corrupt practices leading into registration of false case against the petitioner wherein he has been acquitted. It is stated that in those proceedings, the reputation of the petitioner was spoiled and he was defamed in the society. Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, as raised by him in the application (P.1), in accordance with law.
