Pursuant to the order dated 27.04.2026 passed by this Court, Sh. Mange Ram, Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Village Marot, Tehsil Matanhail, District Jhajjar is present in Court. An affidavit dated 13.05.2026 of the Sarpanch has also been filed which is taken on record. The same be scanned and tagged at an appropriate place.

Learned counsel for respondent No.7-Gram Panchayat has stated that the costs imposed vide order dated 27.04.2026 passed by this Court would be deposited and the receipt thereof would be furnished in the Registry within three working days from today.

In the affidavit dated 13.05.2026 it has specifically been stated as under :

'3. That the possession of the aforesaid land has been taken at the spot after proper demarcation/measurement from Respondent No.8, namely, Rajpal (since deceased), through his legal heir Sunil Kumar.

4. That the illegal construction raised by Respondent No.8 over the said land has been removed/demolished, and the land has been restored to its original status. Respondent No.8 or his legal heir is not in possession of land handed over to the Gram Panchayat, Marout vide warrant of Possession dated 18.11.2024. The constructions shown in the photographs is raised by Sunil Kumar S/o Rajpal on his own land, not in area of Khasra No.40/20/1'.

In view of the affidavit filed by the Sarpanch today that the possession has been handed over to respondent No.7-Gram Panchayat and the construction had been removed, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition and the same is disposed off as such. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
