The present peƟƟon has been filed under SecƟon 528 BNSS, 2023 for issuance of direcƟons to the respondents to submit the status report w.r.t. the acƟon taken into the complaint No. 6893/PC dated 15.12.2023 (Also No. 11371/S/SSP dated 26.12.2023) submiƩed by the peƟƟoner.

Counsel for the peƟƟoner submits that aŌer filing the complaint by peƟƟoner, the maƩer was referred for an enquiry which was conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police and now Senior Superintendent of Police is siƫng over the file. 3.

State counsel submits that this Court should not issue any direcƟon to the Senior Superintendent of Police for the reason that certain objecƟons were raised by the District AƩorney and once the objecƟons were raised, then the file will be processed in a rouƟne.

Be that as it may, there is no reason for the Senior Superintendent of Police to sit over the file.

Given above, the present peƟƟon stands disposed of with a direcƟon to the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police to take a final decision on such enquiry on or before 30.11.2024. Liberty reserved to the peƟƟoner to come to this Court again in case the final decision is not taken by the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police Ɵll 30.11.2024.
