RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 28.01.2020, learned counsel for the petitioners has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioners with the concerned quarter.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.38 dated 25.03.2018 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC pertaining to Police Station City Nawashahar, Police District SBS Nagar, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-3) arrived at between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 18.03.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Chief Judicial, Magistrate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, on 04.04.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Chief RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.13 17:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-56302 of 2018 Judicial, Magistrate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.970 dated 23.04.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, vide Endst. No.373 dated 23.04.2019.

According to the above report, compromise effected between the parties is genuine, voluntary without any coercion or undue influence. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in between the parties, FIR No.38 dated 25.03.2018 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC pertaining to Police Station SBS Nagar, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
