This is a petition under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for violation of the order dated 24.04.2023 passed in CWP-8170-2023. 2.

In reply dated 13.11.2024 filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Vimal Kumar Setia, IAS, Registrar Cooperative Societies, Punjab it has been stated that the Society had dismissed the petitioner from services on 23.03.2018 and an arbitration case under Sections 55 and 56 of the Punjab Cooperative Societies Act, 1961 was also decided against the petitioner by the Arbitrator and he was directed to pay an amount of ₹23,93,210/- to the Society with interest.

In view of the reply, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
