Seeking direction to revisional Court in case CRR-71-2022 titled as "Jagdish Ram etc. Vs. State of Punjab etc." to hear final arguments, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 528 BNSS.

State counsel opposes the present petition on the ground that the zimni orders reveal that the matter was adjourned on joint request of the parties, as such, petitioner cannot claim any grudge for adjournment. She further submits that the State would not seek unnecessary adjournment(s) before the Court concerned. 3.

Given such statement, the present petition is disposed with a request to the concerned Court to expedite the matter and the State also shall not seek unnecessary adjournment(s). It is clarified that in case the petitioner seeks an adjournment, this order shall stand recalled automatically while resorting to sections 403 BNSS, 2023.
