The present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.145, dated 14.05.2025, under Sections 406, 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Kunjpura, District Karnal.

On 09.10.2025, this Court had passed the following order:- "Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.145, dated 14.05.2025, under Sections 406, 420 of IPC, registered at Police Station Kunjpura, District Karnal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the matter has already been settled between the parties and in this context he has referred to Annexures P-3 and P-4.

Notice of motion.

Mr. R.K. Singla, Addl. A.G. Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and seeks time to file the status report. Ms. Harmeet Kaur Bhatia, Advocate appears and filed her power of attorney on behalf of the complainant and admitted the correctness of compromise between the parties.

List on 15.01.2026.

Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/ Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482(2) BNSS." 3.

Learned counsel submits that in pursuance of the afore-mentioned order, the petitioner has not only joined investigation but also fully cooperated ASHOK KUMAR 2026.01.16 11:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-50423-2025 (O&M) -2with the investigating agency. He further submits that in case the investigating agency requires the petitioner to appear, she shall make herself available without demur.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Harvish affirms the factum of joining the investigation by the petitioner and cooperating with the investigating agency. He also submits that at this stage, the petitioner is not required for further custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner is allowed and the order dated 09.10.2025 granting interim bail to her, is hereby made absolute, subject to compliance of conditions as specified under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.

However, it is made clear that if the petitioner fails to join and cooperate with the investigating agency as and when required, the State would be at liberty to move an application for cancellation of the present anticipatory bail granted to her.
