Ahluwalia, Advocate for the respondent-United India Insurance Company Ltd. *** CM-19290-CII-2024 Learned counsel for the applicant-appellant and learned counsel for the respondent(s) are ad idem that the parties to the appeal in question are ready to settle the matter in question in all respects but there is pendency of an application for condonation of delay in filing the appeal. In view of their such stand, delay of 255 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

Application is accordingly disposed of.

FAO-5041-2024 As agreed, in terms of statements of learned counsel for the appellant, learned counsel and representative of the respondent-Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellant in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. As per the statement of learned counsel for the appellant, the enhanced amount be paid to appellant.

Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.15,000/- in the name GEETU 2026.03.24 15:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

of appellant with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court within four weeks from today, in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount till payment from the date of this order. The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall issue proper receipt after receiving the cheque to learned counsel/representative of the respondent-Insurance Company. The appellant(s) counsel/appellant(s) may collect the cheque from the office of the Lok Adalat. Copy of the order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.

All the pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
