(Oral) This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to grant/release full salary and allowance for the vacations/breaks period (including summer and winter vacations) to the petitioners at par with respondent Nos.3 to 17 being working on the same post, and as per judgment dated 30.11.2018, Annexure P-6, and modification order dated 23.01.2019, Annexure P-7, respectively passed by this Court in CWP No.30381-2018 titled as Khushboo v. Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent No.1. At this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case respondent no.1 is directed to PAYAL 2023.11.28 10:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Mr. Anurag Goyal, Advocate for respondents No.1 and 2, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending representation shall be decided by respondent No.2 expeditiously.

In view thereof, without going into merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1/Registrar, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, to consider and decide the pending representation dated 19.05.2023, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

In case the order is not passed within the stipulated period, the officer concerned shall pay costs of ₹25,000 to the petitioners.
