(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that an amicable settlement/compromise has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent No. 2 in pursuance whereof the petitioner and respondent No. 2 have married each other and are living happily.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice for respondent No. 1-State of Punjab. Mr. Sukhmeet Singh, Advocate has filed vakalatnama for respondent No. 2. The same be taken on record.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file a compromise quashing petition on the basis of settlement having been arrived at between the parties. Ordered accordingly.
