The petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing the instant Writ Petition in the year 2016 seeking his premature release. 2.

In reply filed by State on 18.7.2016, a stand was taken by the State that as per the policy applicable to the case of the petitioner, he was not having the requisite period of remissions to his credit. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the present petition may be disposed of while directing the authorities concerned to consider the case of the petitioner as per the policy applicable to the petitioner. 4.
