1. Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., 2023, the petitioners seek the concession of anticipatory bail, in case FIR No.59 dated 26.09.2024, registered under Sections 109, 326(g), 190, 191(3), 332(b) of the B.N.S., at P.S. Purana Shalla, District Gurdaspur.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia submits that, although the petitioners have been alleged to be the members of the unlawful assembly, besides them being alleged to have actively participated in causing injury(ies) to the complainant/victim, however, the injury(ies) attributed to them have been declared "simple in nature".

3. Notice of motion for 25.11.2024.

4. Mr. Pardeep Bajaj, D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab.

5. In the meantime, the petitioners are directed to join the investigation and to appear before the investigating agency, as and when called upon to do so. In the event of their arrest, they shall be admitted to interim bail on their furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioners shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023. , Mr. Inderjit Sharma, Advocate"       !
