Learned State counsel refers to the status report filed by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Morinda, District Rupnagar, dated 17.02.2026, the relevant paras 9 to 12 read thus:- "9.
That it is further submitted that during investigation the address and other documents furnished by the respondent No.8Ramandeep Kaur while opening her Bank Account in HDFC Bank, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh was obtained and verified and it was found that she had given her address as Flat No.703, Block No.C-5, Purab Premium Apartment, Sector-88, Mohali. It is further submitted that the aforementioned address was raided by the Investigating Officer and it has been found that the said flat has been occupied by one Dev Viraj Sharma from April 2025 and respondent No.8-Ramandeep Kaur was not residing in the said flat. It is further submitted that from the verificatio of address
and other documents furnished by the respondent No.9-Harsh Kumar Joshi while opening his Bank Account in HDFC Bank, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh was obtained and verified and it was found that he had given his address as 129-E, Ranjit Nagar, Seona Road, Patiala. It is further submitted that the aforementioned address was raided by the Investigating Officer and Rukmani Devi (mother of respondent No.9) was found at the aforementioned address, who has stated that her husbandDharam Pal had died 10 years ago and since her son-Harsh Kumar Joshi and his wife Ramandeep Kaur was not treating her well therefore, in the year 2024, she had already disowned them from her moveable and immoveable properties and she was not knowing about their present locations.

That it is further submitted that during investigation of the case, the copy of passport bearing No.S5983502 of respondent No.8-Ramandeep Kaur was found and it was issued on 24.08.2018, at House No.62-D, Deep Nagar, Patiala and the said address was also raided by the Investigating Officer, however, it was found that same is owned by Amarjit Kaur wife iof Gurbachan Singh the first floor of the said house was taken by Joginder Singh (father of respondent No.8) on rent and about 12 years ago i.e. in the year 2013, it was left by said Joginder Singh. 11.
That it is further submitted that the Call Detail Record (CDR) of Mobile Nos.98787-88029, 88470-21113, 8968962866, 98767-78900 and 98766-63514 linked to the Aadhar Cards of the respondent No.8 and 9 (Ramandeep Kaur and Harsh Kumar Joshi @ Naman Joshi) have been obtained in order to find out any clue of the hideouts of the respondent No.8 and 9, however, the aforementioned numbers which are linked to the Aadhar Cards of the respondent No.8 and 9 are not working for
the last one year. It is further submitted that he Investigating Officer has also obtained information from the Office of Tehsildar, Patiala in order to verify any land registered/in the name of respondent No.8 and 9 (Ramandeep Kaur and Harsh Kumar Joshi @ Naman Joshi), in order gt the same attached under Section 85 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, however, from the verification of thereof, it has been found that no land/property in registered in the name of respondent No.8 and 9 (Ramandeep Kaur and Harsh Kumar Joshi) in the revenue limits of district Patiala.

That it is further submitted that Look Out Circulards (LOC) against the respondent No.8 and 9, through their passports numbers (S-5983502 and S-5990540) have also been got issued in order to detain them in case they attempted to flee from the country."
