Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had applied for parole vide application dated 16.08.2019 (Annexure P-1). However, till date, Superintendent, Central Jail, Patiala has not taken any action on it.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondents to look into the application of petitioner (Annexure P-1) and dispose of the same in accordance with law at the earliest, preferably within a period of six weeks on receipt of copy of this order.
