This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside impugned order dated 09.05.2023 and 04.07.2024, Annexures P-3 and P5, respectively, passed by the respondent-authorities, whereby petitioner has been fastened with payment of Rs.1,89,000/- as deficit stamp duty and Rs.20,000/-, as other charges.

Pursuant to the previous order passed by this Court, State counsel has filed an affidavit of Tehsildar-cum-Joint Sub Registrar, Ratia, District Fatehabad, to submit that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing a revision petition under Section 47-B of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, as applicable to the State of Haryana, and he has failed to avail the same. In view of the stand taken by the official respondents, counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to take recourse to the alternative remedy. 4.
Dismissed as withdraw with liberty as aforesaid. Liberty is also granted to him to move an appropriate application, if so advised, before the revisional authority seeking condonation of delay on account of pendency of the instant petition.
