Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.139 dated 09.05.2025, under Section 21 of NDPS Act, 1985, (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on) registered at Police Station Civil Line Batala, District Batala (Gurdaspur). 2.

Status report by way of affidavit dated 01.11.2025 of Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, PPS, DSP, Sub-Division City Batala, Police District Batala on behalf of respondent has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record. Copy has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

Vide order dated 12.09.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in pursuance to the order passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the RAJEEV PUROHIT 2025.11.04 09:55 I agree to specified portions of this document investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has stated that petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation.
