The present petition has been filed under Article 226 read with 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of roving writ of Habeas Corpus to release the "Mother of the petitioner/ Detenue, namely, Gurdeep Kaur wife of Davinder Singh", who has been detained by respondent No.4/ Real brother of petitioner, at his residence, i.e., Flat No.81-C, Gobind Enclave Gree, Extension-I, Sector 117, Mohali, Kharar, Punjab.

Pursuant to previous order dated 07.11.2023, detenue/ mother, namely Gurdeep Kaur is present in the Court and she has stated that she is not under pressure of respondent No.4/ son and she is residing with him with her free will and on her own; in fact, since, at present, she is not happy with the petitioner, therefore, she does not even want to meet him, for the time being. 3.

In view of the above, present petition is rendered infructuous. 4.

Disposed of as such.
