***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is before this court aggrieved against non-payment of his dues by the State, against arrears of salary. 2.

Background of the case is that petitioner was working on contractual basis in the Department of Medical Education & Research, Head Office at Panchkula as a Legal Assistant. However, he resigned from service due to unforeseen circumstances. However, his salary for the period of 13 days is still pending and has not been paid to him till today. 3.

Ordinarily, being a case of contract, this Court would have restrained to interfere in the matter. However, since the claim of the petitioner pertains to the pandemic period, taking a sympathetic view, this petition is disposed of with the expectation from the competent authority that the pending representation of the petitioner shall be looked into.
