Petitioners have preferred this petition seeking protection. According to the counsel, they have married against the wishes of their parents and apprehend danger to their life.

On the asking of the court, Mr. Sahil Sharma, DAG, Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. At the outset, he submits that the matter shall be examined by respondent No.2, if required, necessary steps for protection of the petitioners shall be taken forthwith. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, present petition is disposed of.
