This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.1/Haryana Public Service Commission (hereinafter referred to as 'the Commission') to consider petitioners no.1 and 2 for interview for the post of Post Graduate Teacher/PGT-Political Science, Rest of Haryana cadre and Mewat cadre respectively, and to take immediate cognizance of their representations dated 25.10.2023, Annexures P-10 and P-11, seeking result of written/subject knowledge test.

Learned counsel for the Commission, appearing on advance notice, contends that marks of the subject knowledge test have not been disclosed to maintain integrity of the selection process. The next stage of the selection, i.e., holding of interviews is not over as yet which are slated for 8th and 9th November, 2023. CWP No.25362 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:142954 are disclosed before the interviews, it may lead to manipulation and affect impartiality. Therefore, the representations dated 25.10.2023, submitted by the petitioners seeking details of marks of their written examination will be decided within two weeks after the interviews and conveyed to them.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioners has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.

The petitioners will be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law in case they are aggrieved against the decision conveyed.
