RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to take appropriate action against respondent No.5 with a further prayer to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondent No.5.

It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already moved a representation dated 07.09.2022 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.3, however, no action has been taken on the same.

Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 4 only, at this stage. On the asking of the Court, Ms. Ishma Randhawa, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana, to decide the MEENU 2022.12.22 13:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
