(Oral) Seeking direction to respondents no.1 to 3 to further direct respondent no.4 to conduct fair and impartial investigation in complaint no.PGD 611483 dated 4.7.2025 of notice dated 21.8.2025, the petitioner, who claims to be a victim, has come up before this Court under Section 482 CrPC. 2.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be contended and satisfied if he is permitted to file a representation before respondent no.2 Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana and further, said officer be directed to decide the said representation within a month.

Notice served upon the official respondent(s) through State's counsel. The nature of order this Court proposes to pass, no response of the official respondent(s) is required.

State's counsel submits that at least three months time be granted to get the said representation decided.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before respondent no.2 within 15 days from today. In case any such representation is filed within 15 days from today, respondent no.2 shall decide the same either himself/herself or by delegating the same to any officer not below the rank of IPS, by passing a ASHWANI KUMAR 2025.09.18 10:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh
