(ORAL) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for grant of bail pending trial in case FIR No.257 dated 01.09.2022 registered under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, (Section 29 of the NDPS Act added later on), at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Batala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition, at this stage.
