This order shall dispose of present petition for grant of anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner, an accused in case FIR No.97 dated 07.06.2025 under Sections 118(1),115(2),191(3),190 of BNS (Section 118(2) of BNS added later on), registered at P.S Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran. 2.

Status report by way of affidavit of Lovkesh, DSP, Sub Division Patti, District Tarn Taran filed in Court today is taken on record. In para 7 of the said report, factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and the weapon of offence being recovered, stands mentioned. It further emerges from the chart showing the injuries at page 11 of the report that the injury attributed to the petitioner has since been declared as simple in nature. 3.

On 12.09.2025, following order was passed by this Court: " Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.97 dated 07.06.2025 under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS (Section 118(2) of BNS added later on), registered at Police Station Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that this is a case of version and cross-version and in fact the complainant party is aggressor in the present case. He has further contended that as per MLR of Jaspal Singh, the injury allegedly attributed to MANOJ KUMAR 2025.12.04 07:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order the petitioner on the person of Jaspal Singh has been declared

CRM-M-51233-2025 simple in nature. Injury falling within the ambit of 118(2) of BNS on the person of Hari Singh is attributed to the co-accused. He has further submitted that petitioner is ready and willing to join the investigation.

Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and seeks time to file status report. List on 03.12.2025.

Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/ Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482(2) BNSS. " 5.

Keeping in view the above submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner as also the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation, interim bail granted vide order dated 12.09.2025 is hereby confirmed, subject to conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS. Further the petitioner is directed to join investigation as and when required in future by way of written notice for such purpose to be served by Investigating Officer of this case upon the petitioner; he will not tamper with the evidence nor will influence the witnesses and will not leave the country without prior permission of the Court. 6.

The petition stands allowed.
