The instant petition has been filed for quashing of order dated 15.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) whereby the bail order of the petitioner has been cancelled in FIR No.142 dated 30.10.2017, under Sections 21 and 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Rajasansi, Amritsar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner had noted down wrong date of hearing and due to this, he failed to appear before the trial Court on 15.04.2025. The petitioner is ready to surrender himself before the trial Court but requested to protect him from arrest by police.

The petitioner is directed to surrender himself before the trial Court within two weeks and move an application for bail. The trial Court is directed to proceed with matter in accordance with law. Till then, arrest warrant issued against petitioner shall remain in abeyance in this matter. It is made clear that if the petitioner fails to appear before the trial Court, within the stipulated period, then the relief granted by this Court shall be deemed to be withdrawn 7.
