Prayer in this second petition filed under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is for granting the concession of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.40 dated 05.09.2024 under Sections 13(1)(b) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended by the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment)Act, 2018) registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Patiala, District Patiala. 2.
The previous petition filed seeking the similar relief was dismissed as withdrawn as recently as on 18.10.2024 in the following terms:
"After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant petition with liberty to surrender within a week.
Dismissed as withdrawn."
