(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 13, who are family members and close relatives of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 is already married but now both the petitioners have been living together in live-in relationship and facing threat from the family members of petitioner No. 1 and they have also moved a representation dated 21.10.2019 Annexure P-3 to respondent No. 2. Learned counsel further states that even today, relatives of petitioners No. 1 are standing outside the Court and that is the reason the petitioners could not appear before the Court. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, Superintendent of Police, Sirsa- respondent No. 2 is directed to look GURPREET SINGH 2019.12.02 10:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

CRWP No. 1317 of 2019 -2into the representation (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioners and hear their grievance and if required, grant them necessary protection from respondents No. 4 to 13. The petitioners are directed to appear before Superintendent of Police, Sirsa on 2.12.2019.
