The above transfer applications have been filed by both the parties against each other. One Transfer Application, i.e. TA-1360-2024, has been filed by the petitioner-Manvinder Singh seeking transfer of Complaint Case bearing No. COMA-325/2021, instituted against him by the respondent-wife under Sections 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22 and 23 of the

TA-1360-2024 and connected matter 2 Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, which is pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana, to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Jalandhar. The other Transfer Application, i.e. TA-767-2025, has been filed by the petitioner-wife seeking transfer of case bearing No. DMC/2125/2024, instituted by the petitioner-husband against her under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act for dissolution of marriage by way of a decree of divorce, which is pending before the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Jalandhar, to the competent Family Court at Ludhiana.

Both the transfer applications were referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court vide order dated 19.03.2026 passed under Special Mediation Drive 2.0. Thereafter, the parties have amicably resolved their disputes and arrived at a settlement/agreement dated 01.05.2026.

Learned counsel for the parties, ad idem, submit that the parties have amicably settled their dispute in terms of the compromise dated 01.05.2026 arrived at between them. It is further submitted that the parties have mutually agreed to abide by the terms and conditions as stipulated in the respective paragraphs of the said compromise dated 01.05.2026. 4.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the compromise deed dated 01.05.2026.

In view of the prayer made hereinabove and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the present transfer applications are disposed of in terms of the compromise dated 01.05.2026. However, both the parties shall remain bound by their respective obligations as recorded in the mutual compromise-cum-settlement deed.
