**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) On 22.09.2025, the following order was passed:- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for setting aside the order dated 12.08.2025 (Annexure P-9) passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar in case titled as 'State of Punjab versus Manjinder Singh alias Laddi and ors.' bearing case No.SC/88/2020 arising out of FIR No.130 dated 07.08.2019 registered under Sections 326, 324, 323, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 307 and 325 IPC (added later on) at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar whereby the bail order and bail bonbds of the petitioner have been cancelled and the bail/surety bonds have been forfeited to the State. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that as the petitioner was suffering from viral fever, he was unable to appear on 12.08.2025 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings once again.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority-Disaster Relief Fund, Account No.44426937384, IFSC Code:SBIN0014656, State Bank of India, Sector 68, SAS Nagar, he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. A copy of the receipt depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the aforesaid Relief Fund as well as a copy of the order granting interim bail to the petitioner be produced in the Court on the next date of hearing."

CRM-M-53118-2025 In deference to the aforementioned order, the petitioner has surrendered before the Trial Court and has since been released on interim bail vide order dated 14.10.2025 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar. An amount of Rs.25,000/- stands deposited and the receipt of the same is taken on record as Mark 'A'. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

It is expected that the petitioner shall not absent himself from the Trial without sufficient cause.
