Yogesh Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City1, Patiala, District Patiala, wherein it has been deposed that upon investigation offence under Section 354 IPC was not found to be made out and has been deleted and that the remaining offences under Sections 323 and 506 IPC are non-cognizable offences. It has further been deposed therein that proceedings for offence under Sections 107, 150 and 151 Cr.P.C. have also been initiated.
Faced with the aforesaid position, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage.
In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
