***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (ORAL) In consonance with the order passed by this Court on 09.04.2025, both the applicant, as well as the respondent, have made appearanace in the Court today, along with their respective counsel. After having interaction with them, it is evident that both the applicant, as well as the respondent, have agreed for seeking decree of divorce by mutual consent. Both the counsel have given an undertaking that they shall file the petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, within a period of two weeks from today onwards. Also, they have given an undertaking that the said petition shall be filed in the Courts at Chandigarh. Also, the counsel for the respondent has given an undertaking that the respondent shall withdraw the petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, which is sought to be transferred through this application, within a period of 7 days from today onwards, by way of filing Sonu 2025.04.28 16:40 I agree to specified portions of this document P&HHC

In view of the undertaking given aforesaid, by the counsel for the respondent and also in view of the amicable settlement, so reached, the counsel for the applicant submits that he does not want to pursue with the transfer application and the same be dismissed as withdrawn. Ordered accordingly.

However, the parties shall remain bound by the statement, given by them and their respective counsel.
