Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that FIR No.10 dated 09.03.2019 was registered at Police Station Behrampur, District Gurdaspur for the offence punishable under Section 306 IPC for committing suicide by the daughter of petitioner but till date, the police has not taken any action in the case despite his representation (Annexure P-2). Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur to look into the representation (Annexure P-2) of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order.
