(ORAL) The petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing respondents No.1 to 3 to release his wife Preeti Kaur forthwith from the illegal custody of respondent No.4. 2.

In compliance of order dated 08.11.2023, report of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Fatehabad, has been received, wherein it has been mentioned that detenue Preeti Kaur had made a statement that she wanted to live with petitioner-Anup Kumar. Both, the petitioner and detenue stated that there was no danger to them and, they do not want police protection.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same stands disposed of accordingly.
