(ORAL) Petitioner, who claims himself to be National General Secretary of Shiv Sena Taksali, has filed the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of direction to respondents No.2 & 3 to protect his life and liberty and also of his family member. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner has been consistently receiving threats call from international number on his mobile phone. In this context, he also requested police officials several times to look into the matter and also moved a written representation dated 28.08.2025 (Annexure P1), but no concrete steps have been taken. 3.
Insofar as the present petition is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to direct the official respondents to decide representation dated 28.08.2025 (Annexure P1) moved by petitioner. 4.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case and in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 28.08.2025 (Annexure P1) within a period of four weeks. In case, it is found that there is a genuine threat to the lives and liberty of the petitioner and his family members, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken at the earliest, so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner as well his family members.
