PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Status report by way of affidavit of Surender Singh, HPS, DSP, Punhana has been filed on behalf of the respondent-State today in Court, which is taken on record. Relevant part thereof reads as under : "8.

That it is humbly submitted that on 22.09.2023 the investigation was verified by Sh. Jitender Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nuh and the investigation/verification was conducted from the respectable persons of the society they stated that the complainant namely Ibrahim is running JCB Machine and doing work of filling plot. Some time ago he did work of filling in the plot of Khan Mohd. and money remains due towards the Khan Mohd. They stated that the complaint has got registered false case for not giving money by the Khan Mohd. It is further submitted that during the course of investigation/verification giving narcotic substance to the child of Ibrahim were found false and the complainant were found to got registered false case due to the party politics of village and for money which is to be taken from Khan Mohd., hence cancellation report was prepared on 23.09.2023 and the cancellation report has been submitted the Ld. Illaqua Magistrate on 24.11.2023 and now the case is fixed for 01.02.2024 for consideration."

In view of above, nothing survives in the present petition for adjudication at the hands of this Court.

Consequently, the petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
