(Oral) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider and decide the applications filed by the petitioner on 14.08.2019 for grant of stage carriage permit in terms of Clause 3-E of the New Transport Scheme of 2018.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite lapse of more than 03 years, the applications filed by the petitioner on 14.08.2019 have not been considered by the competent authority so far.
Precisely, for the claim in question, the petitioner has already served legal notices dated 30.12.2019 and 30.03.2022 JYOTI SHARMA 2022.12.21 17:18 I attest to the authenticity and accuracy of this order/judgment
CWP No. 29500 of 2022 -2upon the competent authority, but no action has been taken by the competent authority.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case a time bound direction is given to the respondent No.2 to take note of pending legal notices dated 30.12.2019 and 30.03.2022 and pass a speaking order in accordance with law.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sanjeev Soni, Addl. A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
