(Oral) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application filed by the petitioner on 14.08.2019 for grant of stage carriage permit in terms of Clause 3-E of the New Transport Scheme of 2018.

Grievance of the petitioner is that despite moving an application on 14.08.2019, needful in the context of taking final decision has not been done by the competent authority/ respondent No.2 so far.

Precisely, for the claim in question, the petitioner has already served a legal notice dated 30.03.2022 in furtherance of earlier legal notice dated 30.12.2019.

CWP No. 29702 of 2022 -2Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case a time bound direction is given to the respondent No.2 to take note of pending legal notice dated 30.03.2022 and pass a speaking order in accordance with law.
