Grievance of the petitioner is that he was tortured by certain officials of the police and also make to sign a cheque for Rs.2 lacs. He, thus, prayed the indulgence of this court for enquiry into the matter. However, he has already submitted his representation, Annexure P-1 to respondent No.4. On the asking of the court, Mr. Saurabh Mohunta, DAG, Haryana, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. He submits that in case representation of the petitioner is pending, appropriate steps shall be taken, if circumstances so warrant. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, present petition is hereby disposed of.
