1. The petitioner assails the order dated 31.01.2022 (P-1) whereby the petitioner's services have been terminated from the post of Gram Rozgar Sewak.

2. The appointment of the petitioner as a Gram Rozgar Sewak is under the MGNREGA scheme on contractual basis. As per the order of termination, it is apparent that there was an enquiry conducted with regard to his performance, and he was found guilty of having uploaded more than one job card of beneficiaries belonging to few villages on a single account and making payment to them under the MGNREGA scheme. It was also noticed that the contract period of the petitioner stood expired as on 31.12.2021. In view thereof, his services were terminated from the date the contract period was over.

Learned counsel submits that actually the computer assistant was responsible for changing the job cards and he had conducted fraud as per the Secretary's order, whereby directions were issued to register an FIR against the concerned computer assistant. 4. I have considered the submissions.

5. The petitioner has been held guilty in an enquiry. Admittedly, the petitioner was working on contract basis and the contract period expired on 31.12.2021. No right is available to the petitioner to continue after his contract period is over.
