(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, is for quashing of complaint No.NIACT/261/2016 dated 15.06.2016 filed by the respondent/complainant, under Sections 138/142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Further prayer has been made for quashing the order dated 5.8.2024 passed by learned trial Court vide which the application under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, filed by the petitioner has been dismissed. Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition as the matter has been amicably settled between the parties.
