(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 428 of the BNSS, 2023 is for issuance of directions to the learned Trial Court to decide the trial of the case bearing FIR No.14 dated 29.01.2021 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 307, 148, 149 of IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Bhargo Camp, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar expeditiously. In view of the prayer made and the arguments raised, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than one year from the next date of hearing fixed before it. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
