Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 5 to initiate criminal proceedings and to register FIR against respondents No.6 to 26, for committing embezzlement to the tune of lakhs of rupees in the name of `Kheda Vatan Punjab' Faridkot-2023 and embezzlement of crores of rupees at Nehru stadium, Faridkot, which has been defrauding the Government for several years, and SC/ST Act 1989, 356(1&2) and 318(4) of BNS as the complaints made by the petitioner are suppressed in collusion with the officers and petitioner is subjected to defamation and the inquiry is obstructed in an illegal manner. It is further prayed to transfer the investigation from respondent No.4 to respondents No.2 or 3 or to any independent agency. It is also prayed to seize the bank accounts, assets, property of the private respondents and records of the MEENU 2024.11.06 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents No.6 to 26 have committed embezzlement of crores of rupees. 3.

Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. 4.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits, on instructions from ASI Baldev Singh, that inquiry has already been marked to the Vigilance, Ferozepur, on 29.10.2024 and the same would be concluded expeditiously in accordance with law. 5.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents/State to conclude the inquiry, as submitted before this Court expeditiously in accordance with law.

At this stage, it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. 7.

Respondents/State is directed to take into consideration the contentions raised by learned counsel for the petitioner and on assessment of the same, if need arises, take appropriate action to ensure the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner.
