(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the payment of arrears of revised pay/pension to the pensioners/retirees of Punjab State Power/Transmission Corporation Limited from 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2021, along with interest @ 18% per annum. Further prayer has been made to revise and refix the pension of the petitioners while taking into account the Dearness Allowance @ 125% instead of revision done currently by adding 113% in the formula devised for revision of pension and further to grant minimum 15% increase in pension w.e.f. 01.01.2016 along with all the consequential benefits of pension/family pension as on 31.12.2015 along with arrears from 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2021, along with interest @ 18% per annum and also the benefit MOHD YAKUB 2024.10.29 18:14 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
