NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.68 dated 03.07.2021, registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, at Police Station Women Cell, Ludhiana, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 31.07.2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Surinder Kumar, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
