**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.76 dated 16.09.2017 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC Police Station Balianwali District Bathinda.

Notice of motion was issued on 04.12.2019. Thereafter, vide order dated 12.12.2019, the petitioner was directed to be released on interim bail in the event of his arrest. Petitioner was also directed to join the investigation and co-operate with the investigating agency.

Jagmit Singh entered into an agreement to sell with complainant Iqbal Singh and received an amount of Rs.25 lacs as earnest money. The allegations against the petitioner are PRINCE SAINI 2021.08.27 18:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.51325 of 2019 that he being a revenue official entered the mutation wrongly. The allegations are of connivance with the beneficiary. Petitioner was again directed to join the investigation on 30.01.2020 as he did not join the investigation on earlier occasion.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and even challan has been presented.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Kuldeep Singh, admits that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 06.02.2020 and challan has been submitted to the Court on 08.07.2021 and the presence of the petitioner is not required for any further investigation.

In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 12.12.2019 is made absolute. Petitioner shall keep on appearing before the trial Court regularly.

Petition stands disposed of.
