***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL , J .(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking release of 4 detenues, whose names are mentioned in Para No.4 of the petition, who are stated to be illegally detained by respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has, however, restricted his prayer to the extent of issuance of direction to District Magistrate, District Jind, to dispose of the instant petition which may be treated as representation in accordance with law while keeping in view the provisions of Sections 10 and 12 of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976. CRWP-10386-2024 (O&M) ( 2 ) In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate, District Jind, to look into the matter. This writ petition be treated as representation and be decided expeditiously by District Magistrate, District Jind, preferably within a period of seven days from today in accordance with law.

A copy of this order alongwith copy of petition be sent to District Magistrate, District Jind, so as to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
